Wharton Lady Tiger Volleyball |
The Wharton Lady Tigers had an awesome year of play!! The Lady Tigers Volleyball Team placed 2nd in District 26-3AAA Volleyball, and were Bi-District Champions and qualified for the area match, but lost to LaVernia Lady Bears.
The volleyball team was ranked by the Texas Girls Coaching Association this year in the top 15 teams in the state.
Many members of the team were featured in the Victoria Advocate Leader Boards and Honor Roll weekly, four players were selected for the 2009 Advocate All Area Volleyball Teams, 1 player was selected for the All State Volleyball Teams, 8 players were selected for All County Teams, and all of the team received awards from the District 26-3AAA selections.
The Lady Tigers finished the season 29-8 and 8-2 in district!!

ACT / SAT / PSAT Information
All volleyball players who are classified as sophomores were registered and completed the PSAT examination.
All juniors and seniors were encouraged to select and register for an ACT or SAT examinations date.
The basic fee for the ACT exam is $31 and the ACT plus the writing component is $46. The test dates are all on Saturdays.
