| Attention Dual Credit Students |

Dual Credit Registration Information
If you told Mrs. Boyette that you wanted to take Dual Credit classes there are steps you must take to register!!
To register for Dual Credit you must:
1)Apply to WCJC. You can do this in person or on the web from the WCJC home page, Admissions and Registration, Apply Texas.
2)Make sure you give WCJC your TAKS scores. Let Mrs. Kacer know you need a transcript for WCJC. She will send your grades as well as your TAKS scores when everything is complete. If your TAKS scores are not high enough you will have to take the THEA or the ASSET test. You need to contact the testing department at the college to take these college entrance tests. Testing is located on the top floor of the Pioneer Student Center.
3)Sign up for the class. After you are accepted into WCJC, you will need to register for your class. You will need to find the CRN (Course Registration Number) number that matches the section that indicates dual credit. If you are unsure of the CRN number, please contact the course instuctor or the college registrar. You can register on line using your student ID number and password or register in person at the Registrar's office.
4)Finally you will need to pay for the class at the business office at WCJC. If your WCJC fees and books are paid by a scholarship then you will need to speak with the counselor. |
