Wharton Elementary opened its doors in September 2008. We serve grades two through five with an approximate enrollment of 700 kids. We will be known for our high expectations, positive school climate, and student performance. Central to the school's success is a highly effective team of teachers and support staff who collaborate together in a constant effort to improve instruction. We will ensure that learning takes place in a fun, safe environment and a visit to our school will bear this out.
We love all the parents, students, and all volunteers that come to help us educate our children. Wharton Elementary is a special place with outstanding opportunities for students to grow academically, physically, emotionally, and socially.
We are looking forward to a wonderful school year. Remember, daily attendance is a must. It's number one in the road to school success.
