What an honor it is to greet you in my role as campus principal of Sivells Elementary School! I endeavor to make sound decisions that impact student success and promote student welfare. However, I realize that my efforts will be realized only if I have the support of parents, guardians, and the community at large to promote the collective efforts of our faculty and staff. Therefore, I solicit your participation in helping our school to achieve its goals.

I have been an educator for more than three decades. After receiving my bachelor of arts degree from Prairie View A&M University, I completed post baccalaureate work at Texas A&M in Kingsville and earned my master of education degree, mid-management emphasis, from University of Houston-Victoria.

After teaching senior English in Port Arthur for two years, I taught at Wharton High School for twenty years. Since then, I have been an administrator at Sivells Elementary. I look forward to a successful year.
